Side-by-side seed comparison
Compare two current-patch plans using the same session length. Multipliers default to 1 so unverified bonuses stay out of the estimate.

Same-session verdict
Seed A leads by 80 net value for this session.
Gross value = sell value × harvests × mutation multiplier × pet/gear multiplier. Risk-adjusted revenue removes the loss percentage. Operating profit subtracts recurring cost. Session profit also subtracts the one-time seed/setup cost. This is a scenario planner, not an official live GAG2 price database.
Short sessions
A high-value crop can still lose a short-session comparison when its growth cycle is slow. The calculator completes only whole cycles inside the entered session.
Expensive seeds
Seed or setup cost is charged once. The break-even result shows how many profitable cycles are needed to recover it before the plan produces positive lifetime value.
Uncertain servers
Expected loss reduces gross crop value before costs are applied. Compare a low-loss and high-loss scenario instead of trusting one optimistic total.
Reproducible math
Every result comes from the visible inputs below. The tool does not call a hidden price feed, guess a seed tier, or silently import original Grow a Garden values.
| Output | Formula |
|---|---|
| Gross crop value / cycle | Average sell value × harvests × mutation multiplier × pet/gear multiplier |
| Risk-adjusted revenue | Gross crop value × (1 − expected loss percentage) |
| Operating profit / cycle | Risk-adjusted revenue − recurring cycle cost |
| Profit / minute | Operating profit per cycle ÷ growth minutes |
| Session net profit | (Operating profit × completed cycles) − one-time seed/setup cost |
| Break-even cycles | One-time seed/setup cost ÷ positive operating profit, rounded up |
Record both plans under the same update, server conditions, event state, and measurement window.
Keep both multipliers at 1 until you have confirmed the mutation, pet, or gear effect for the same crop calculation.
Average sell value is per harvested crop. Harvest count and growth time must describe one complete cycle.
Enter the time you actually expect to play. The winner is based on completed cycles and includes the one-time setup cost.
Evidence boundary
Some third-party pages publish early seed tables and fitted crop formulas, but GAG2 values and mechanics are still update sensitive. This calculator therefore uses your current observed values and exposes every assumption. Use multiplier 1 when a bonus is unknown, and do not transfer GAG1 prices, mutations, or formulas into GAG2.
It compares two user-entered seed or crop plans over the same session. Each plan can have a different setup cost, sell value, harvest count, growth time, mutation multiplier, pet or gear multiplier, recurring cost, and expected loss rate.
No. It calculates from the values you enter. Grow a Garden 2 changes quickly, so the page does not present an unverified third-party price table as an official live database.
Profit per minute is useful when growth times differ. Session net profit is better when you know how long you will play. ROI shows efficiency against total cost, while break-even cycles show how long it takes to recover the one-time seed or setup cost.
Use 1 when a bonus is excluded. Enter a multiplier only when it applies to the same crop value and test window. For example, a verified two-times effect is entered as 2, not 200.
