Strongest agreement
Three → four costs 200K
Nine reviewed pages or tables repeat the fourth-slot price. It is still community-published rather than an official Roblox reference, so confirm the current menu before spending.
10-page source audit · reviewed July 30, 2026
The strongest agreement is three default active pets, 200,000 Sheckles for a fourth slot and 1,000,000 for a fifth. The current maximum is not settled across published pages: several stop at five, while three continue to a sixth slot for 5,000,000. This guide keeps that conflict visible and plans around your operating reserve.
Strongest agreement
Nine reviewed pages or tables repeat the fourth-slot price. It is still community-published rather than an official Roblox reference, so confirm the current menu before spending.
Wording defect
Starting at three, adding one and then two equals six. Some pages nevertheless label the 1M step “+2” and “total five.” This page uses target totals so the calculator does not inherit that arithmetic contradiction.
Current-cap conflict
GameBoost, NerdsChalk and others call five the maximum. Fandom, VGTimes and Game.Guide publish a third upgrade at 5,000,000. Check the live menu rather than assuming either snapshot is final.
Reserve-aware upgrade math
Plan against target totals of four, five or a disputed six. The calculator preserves a user-entered operating reserve and does not assume that another active pet will automatically pay for itself.

Target-total comparison
These rows describe active equip capacity, not how many pets can sit in inventory. The cumulative total assumes each target step is purchased in order. Six remains a disputed scenario rather than a verified current cap.
| Target total | Step cost | Cumulative from three | Evidence status | Interpretation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4 active slots | 200,000 Sheckles | 200,000 Sheckles | repeated | The most consistently repeated upgrade claim. |
| 5 active slots | 1,000,000 Sheckles | 1,200,000 Sheckles | repeated-with-wording-conflict | The price repeats, but some pages call it +2 while also saying total five. |
| 6 active slots | 5,000,000 Sheckles | 6,200,000 Sheckles | cap-conflict | Three pages continue to a sixth slot while several others call five the maximum. |
Capacity check
An equip slot controls how many pet abilities can run at once. Inventory controls how many pets can be stored. GameBoost says a pet in inventory does nothing until equipped, and NerdsChalk explicitly warns not to import original-game inventory or sacrifice mechanics into GAG2.
Before buying another slot, open the rabbit-head pet menu, count the current active positions and identify the exact extra pet you intend to equip. Empty capacity has no passive ability.
Value check
A slot is only useful through the pet occupying it. Growth, mutation, defense, movement and stealing pets solve different problems, while duplicate stacking is not backed by an official per-ability table. A movement pet can be valuable during active play and irrelevant during an idle farming test.
Preserve an operating reserve for seeds, crops and the intended companion. The planner therefore subtracts a user-entered reserve before it decides whether the upgrade is affordable.
Loadout roles
These are role examples from the site's current pet audit, not a universal best-team ranking. Availability, price and ability details remain source-dependent, so verify the individual pet before choosing a slot plan.
Deer · Butterfly · Firefly
Faster or stronger crop development claims.
Golden Dragonfly · Unicorn
Reported Gold or Rainbow mutation support.
Robin · Monkey · Black Dragon
Seed drops, fruit collection or egg-related utility claims.
Bee · Bear · Bald Eagle · Ice Serpent
Interferes with intruders or protects the plot.
Frog · Bunny · Owl · Turtle
Movement, night visibility, alerts or inventory utility.
Raccoon
Night-stealing automation and steal-limit claims.

Starting at three, +1 and then +2 would equal six, not five; treat the target total as the safer label.

Roblox anchors the official experience identity but does not publish the reviewed slot table. All capacity and price claims therefore remain community-source snapshots. Multiple pages can repeat the same screenshot or wording without being independent game observations.
Seven reviewed pages repeat three default active slots. The official Roblox listing reviewed here does not publish that number.
The strongest community agreement is 200,000 Sheckles for a target total of four active slots.
Reviewed pages repeat 1,000,000 Sheckles. Some describe it as +2 while also saying total five, so this guide uses the target total rather than the contradictory increment.
The evidence conflicts. Three pages publish a 5,000,000-Sheckle sixth slot, while several others call five the maximum. Check the live pet menu.
Reviewed interface guides say a pet must be actively equipped. Inventory capacity is separate from active equip capacity.
Only after preserving farm operating cash and identifying a useful extra pet. Another empty slot has no ability, and another pet does not guarantee profit.
