Common Egg gap
89.8% or 107.3%
Four pages repeat an eight-pet Common Egg table totaling 89.8%. Fandom adds Turtle at 17.5%, taking the same-looking Normal column to 107.3%. Neither total proves a complete exclusive pool.
Reviewed July 30, 2026 · six community sources
Calculate the chance of hatching a target GAG2 pet, but inspect the source table first. Reviewed pages publish seven egg names and 44 hatch-rate claims. Their pool totals range from 89.8% to 132.9%, so this page keeps missing rows, extra rows and the Epic Egg Bee/Bear conflict visible instead of inventing a clean 100% table.
Common Egg gap
Four pages repeat an eight-pet Common Egg table totaling 89.8%. Fandom adds Turtle at 17.5%, taking the same-looking Normal column to 107.3%. Neither total proves a complete exclusive pool.
Epic Egg conflict
The older table totals exactly 100% with Deer, Unicorn, Bee and Big Bee. A July page adds Bear at 9% and explicitly says the 9% slot is still disputed. The union totals 109%.
Rainbow Egg warning
One June page publishes twelve Rainbow outcomes at copied-looking rates, while a July page says per-pet odds are unpublished. The calculator excludes those rows from target presets.
Scope before math
If a target pet is published at probability p for each egg, the chance of missing it in one egg is 1 − p. Under independent, unchanged rolls, the chance of missing in n eggs is (1 − p)^n. Subtracting that from one gives the calculator's “at least one” result.
This math is useful for a Raccoon at a published 0.2%, a Big Bee at 1%, or an extremely rare Mega target. It also shows why “expected one” is not a guarantee: an expected value of one hit still allows zero hits, multiple hits, and every outcome between.
The formula cannot prove that the input rate is current. It cannot decide whether Turtle belongs in the Common Egg, which 9% Epic slot is correct, whether variant columns are conditional, or whether the game uses pity, changing odds or dependent rolls.
For those questions, use the pool audit and source ledger. The separate GAG2 pet tier consensus ranks utility and roles; it does not share this page's hatch-probability intent.
Fixed-rate scenario
Choose one published target row and a number of eggs. The calculator applies 1 − (1 − p)^n under an independent, fixed-rate assumption. It does not repair an incomplete pool or prove the published rate.

Published-row arithmetic
Select a published table snapshot. A total below or above 100% means the rows cannot be treated as a complete mutually exclusive pool without more evidence. We preserve the problem instead of scaling every row to force 100%.

Union roster
This seven-name union is larger than any single reviewed roster. Inclusion means at least one source published the name; it does not prove simultaneous availability. “Watch” and “unreleased” rows stay separate from released eggs.
| Egg | Rarity | Status | Acquisition claim | Pool note | Sources |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Common Egg | Common | Released | Guild weekly competition rewards; Auctions and Black Dragon egg drops are community-reported. | Eight-pet tables omit Turtle and total 89.8%; Fandom adds Turtle at 17.5%, raising the published row sum to 107.3%. | 5 |
| Epic Egg | Epic | Partial / disputed | Acquisition and current release state remain inconsistent across reviewed pages. | The older four-row table totals 100%; a newer page adds Bear at 9% while flagging a Bee/Bear slot conflict. | 4 |
| Big Egg | Mythic | Released | Reported Guild competition reward for the #26–250 tier in the July 25 Pet Safari round. | Reported to guarantee Big variants; per-pet odds were not published in the reviewed current table. | 2 |
| Rainbow Egg | Mythic | Released | Reported Guild competition reward for top tiers; every hatch is described as a Rainbow variant. | One page says per-pet odds are unpublished; another publishes twelve rates totaling 132.9%. | 3 |
| Mega Egg | Super | Unreleased | Reported through the Guild Gifting Request system with no known obtainment path. | Twelve possible pets are listed by one current page, but no per-pet rates are published. | 1 |
| Common Pet Egg | Common | Unreleased | TBA. | Listed separately from Common Egg by one reviewed page; details are unknown. | 1 |
| Coastal Egg | Unknown | Watch only | Summer Event / pet stock watch. | A single page mentions Orca and leaves exact hatch chances pending. | 1 |
Source-claim matrix
Variant names are normalized to Normal, Big, Mega and Rainbow for comparison. One source uses “Huge” for the column later described as Mega. Rows are claims, not corrected probabilities. Rainbow claims remain visible here even though the calculator excludes their non-normalized pool.

How to use the result
Reaching the calculated 90% threshold still leaves a 10% miss chance under the model. It is not a deadline, guarantee or promise that the next egg must contain the target.
Under independent rolls, missing many times does not make the next egg “due.” A pity system would change that conclusion, but none of the reviewed sources documents one.
Check the in-game tooltip before committing rare eggs. Release status, Guild reward tiers and pet slots can change faster than community reference pages.

Reusable evidence
The machine-readable release contains the seven-name egg union, all 44 hatch claims, six pool-sum audits, source IDs, dates, acquisition notes and limitations. The manifest adds field definitions and a checksum for reproducible review.
Hatch odds do not tell you which pet is best for your garden. Compare editorial pet roles separately, then connect the chosen pet to crop values, mutations and your current profit assumptions.
