Expected procs are long-run averages, not guarantees. The probability result assumes independent attempts with the same chance. Animation time, targeting rules, hunger, server lag, ability queues, shared cooldowns, pity systems, and pet-specific caps are excluded unless already reflected in your displayed inputs.
Cooldown
Use seconds from one unchanged pet state. Convert 10 minutes to 600 seconds. A timer already modified by a toy or mutation must not receive that same reduction twice.
Frequency
Session attempts use complete cooldown intervals. Enable “ready at start” only when the ability can fire immediately at the beginning of your measurement window.
Probability
A pet can activate without its chance-based effect succeeding. The tool reports scheduled attempts, mathematical expectation, and cumulative hit probability as different values.
Stacking rule
Suppose a pet has a 600-second timer and two reductions of 20% and 10%. The two common interpretations do not produce the same cooldown.

The calculator does not claim one rule applies to every Grow a Garden effect. Compare a controlled in-game observation against both results, then select the matching rule.
The selected stacking rule reduces the entered base timer. A known pet-specific floor then clamps the result when the raw timer would fall below it.
Completed session seconds are divided by effective cooldown and rounded down. Independent active copies multiply that count.
Total attempts are multiplied by the success probability. This is a long-run mean, not a promise for one session.
Independent attempts use 1 − (1 − p)^n, where p is success chance per trigger and n is the total number of scheduled attempts.
Evidence boundary
Pet ability stats can depend on pet identity, age, weight, mutation, toys, hunger, active buffs, server behavior, and patch. Public calculator databases disagree on age caps, stat labels, and scaling claims. This page therefore models the cooldown and chance you can observe now. It does not invent missing pet-specific values or label secondary data as official live telemetry.

The answer can depend on the effect and patch. Additive stacking combines the percentages before reducing the timer. Multiplicative stacking applies each reduction to the remaining timer. Use the rule supported by your current in-game comparison; the calculator exposes both instead of silently choosing a universal rule.
It is the number of successes expected over many identical sessions: total scheduled attempts multiplied by the per-trigger chance. A result of 2 does not guarantee exactly two successes in one session.
No. Pet-specific cooldown floors and ability caps are not inferred. Enter a known floor when you have current evidence, or use zero when it is unknown and treat the result as an unclamped scenario.
