Grow a Garden 2 Gear List: Prices, Stock Chance & Conflicts

Compare a 27-row union of published GAG2 gear claims across the Gear Shop and Robux Store. The reviewed pages disagree on 13 prices and even on which items belong in the shop roster. This is not live stock, and no row was checked inside the game by this publisher.

23 Sheckle + 4 Robux rows

The union is larger than any single reviewed shop table. Lantern and Teleporter disappear from one newer list, while Player Magnet, Megaphone and Strawberry Sniper are absent from others. Union coverage does not prove simultaneous availability.

Largest price spread

Legendary Sprinkler: 12×

Reviewed pages publish both 100,000 and 1,200,000 Sheckles. Super Watering Can spans 250,000 to 3,000,000, while Super Sprinkler spans 300,000 to 3,000,000. The matrix keeps every claim instead of selecting a convenient price.

Rarest listed chance

Super Sprinkler: 1.2%

One community shop table and two item pages repeat 1.2%. Under an independent five-minute model, 191 refreshes cross 90%—about 15.9 hours. That is a scenario, not a guaranteed timer.

Compare how many reported five-minute refreshes are needed to cross a target chance of seeing one gear item. This calculation uses one community shop table. It is not current stock, a server timer, or proof that the game makes independent rolls.

GAG2 gear prices, chance, stock and effects

A slash between prices means reviewed sources disagree. Stock amount and chance primarily come from GrowAGarden2Wiki.com; a matching item-page claim is useful corroboration but does not turn community data into an official game record. The 90% column uses 1 − (1 − p)^n only when a numeric chance exists.

Conflict audit

Why “the current price” cannot be inferred from publication date

Newer is not automatically more accurate. Eldorado's July 17 table gives the Super Sprinkler as 1,000,000, while a Fandom item page and GAG2.GG page repeat 3,000,000 and 1.2%. Conversely, several June pages agree on older-looking sprinkler values. A later date can represent a real patch, a copied stale value or a fresh transcription error. Without a dated in-game observation, the cause remains unknown.

Growth gear changed most

Rare, Legendary and Super sprinklers all have competing price claims. The Super Watering Can has three published levels. Because these items are progression purchases, using a stale number can distort a player's entire savings plan.

Utility rows are not stable either

Basic Pot appears at 60,000 and 300,000. Teleporter appears at 18,000, 60,000 and “TBA.” Megaphone appears at 4,000 and 8,000. These are direct published disagreements, not rounding.

Strawberry Sniper evolved

An early page preserves a 7,000,000 claim, while later June and July pages converge on 13,000,000. Reuse, cooldown and always-available descriptions also changed. The evidence looks like version drift, but only the game UI can confirm the active state.

Decision framework

Choose gear by the problem it solves, not rarity alone

Published tier lists mix farming return, defense, movement, novelty and price into one grade. Those goals are not interchangeable. A defensively strong item can be useless for faster crop growth, while a cheap movement mushroom can solve a short session problem better than a rare sprinkler.

Growth: compare coverage and duration

Sprinkler sources repeat a two-minute duration and increasing radius, growth and size bonuses. But stacking claims conflict: some pages say sprinklers stack up to a size cap, while another says identical rarities do not stack. Treat the current in-game effect text as authoritative before spending.

Defense: value depends on actual losses

Gnome, Flashbang and Strawberry Sniper target theft rather than crop output. Compare their cost with the fruit you realistically lose during night play. A 13-million defense purchase is not automatically efficient for a garden whose next seed or growth upgrade would earn more.

Movement: session context matters

Mushrooms, Teleporter and Rainbow Carpet solve different travel problems. Temporary speed can be enough for a shop route; flight has broader utility but uses Robux. The table reports access claims, not a conversion between real money and in-game time.

Utility: verify one-time ownership

Sign and Wheelbarrow are described as one-time purchases. Basic Pot and Trowel affect plant placement. Before treating any high chance as repeatable stock, check whether the item is permanently owned, consumable, reusable, or limited per account in the current game build.

Source lineage

Nine pages, but not nine independent observations

Community wikis and guide sites frequently cite or copy one another. Matching wording, row order and rounded percentages may reflect a shared upstream table. We therefore count source pages, preserve publisher identities and show claim alignment without calling repeated web copies independent verification.

How to read the waiting math

A listed 4% chance does not mean one appearance is owed every 25 refreshes. Independent random trials can miss far longer or cluster several appearances close together.

The calculator's mean wait is 1 ÷ p. Its confidence threshold asks when the calculated chance of at least one appearance crosses 50%, 90% or 95%. Neither number predicts a specific server.

Items marked 100% may be one-time ownership rows rather than repeatable quantities. Robux Store items are excluded because they are not modeled as rotating Gear Shop stock.

What this page does not claim

  • No current in-stock or sold-out state.
  • No server-synchronized countdown or next-stock predictor.
  • No guarantee that five-minute rolls are independent.
  • No official or independently reproduced price table.
  • No tested sprinkler-stacking rule or effectiveness score.
  • No recommendation to spend Robux or real money.

Use the matrix to identify what must be checked. For a purchase, open the official game and trust the current Gear Shop price, ownership label and effect text over every third-party page.

Reproducible release

Download the exact gear claim matrix

The JSON preserves all 27 union rows, every numeric price claim, source IDs, stock fields, evidence status and limitations. Its release manifest records byte size and SHA-256 so later shop revisions can be compared with this exact snapshot.

Continue with GAG2 planning tools

Verify the shop price first, then compare the opportunity cost against seeds and crop profit. Mutation multipliers, pet roles and codes are separate decisions; none proves that a gear purchase will pay back.
