Value Grow a Garden is an independent fan-made project building practical calculators and clearly sourced references for Grow a Garden players.

What the site currently provides

Independent GAG1 calculators and a legacy pet reference snapshot, each bounded by its observation date.
An evidence-led Grow a Garden 2 topic hub covering crops, pets, shops, events, trading, progression, safety, and disputed mechanics.
Interactive calculators and local browser tools that expose formulas, assumptions, uncertainty, and validation limits.
A free GAG2 JSON API, OpenAPI description, downloadable source audits, versioned manifests, and SHA-256 checksums.
A submission form for evidence that may help build a future current-market dataset.

The legacy snapshot is not a live Trade Token price feed. It does not currently support claims about medians, percentile ranges, or recent sample counts. The exact scope is documented on the methodology page.

Editorial principles

Date every claim: use absolute observation times and game patch labels.
Separate currencies: do not mix Sheckles, NPC sell prices, Trade Tokens, and community comparison values.
Show uncertainty: insufficient evidence should be labelled, not replaced with a precise-looking zero.
Keep evidence reviewable: future market ranges should connect to normalized, anonymized observations and a changelog.
Correct openly: material errors should be fixed with a visible revision date.

How GAG2 claims are reviewed

First-party Roblox pages and official game metadata are preferred for platform controls, game identity, and account safety. Mechanics that are not documented there are compared across dated community pages. Repeated, limited, conflicting, outdated, anecdotal, and boundary claims remain visibly distinct; agreement between fan pages is not presented as official confirmation.

Each substantial GAG2 research page links to a machine-readable audit and release manifest where practical. The public GAG2 data API is intended to make records reusable and corrections independently checkable. It does not turn community observations into live game telemetry.

Security and tool boundaries

Tools run without collecting Roblox credentials. The private-server link checker, for example, parses a pasted URL in the browser and does not open or upload it. Value Grow a Garden does not ask for passwords, cookies, 2SV codes, backup codes, or payment details, and it does not distribute public private-server invite links.

Independence and trademarks

This website is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation, The Garden Game, or the developers of Grow a Garden or Grow a Garden 2. Game names, artwork, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Operator transparency

The site is currently operated as an independent project. A named editorial team and reviewer profiles have not yet been published, so the site does not claim institutional or official authority. Data releases and corrections are now recorded in the public changelog; accountable reviewer identities remain an open requirement.

Contact and corrections

Use the contact page to report a calculation error, stale page, broken source, or privacy concern. Include the page URL and reproducible evidence where possible, but do not send passwords, payment information, or unnecessary personal data.
