Value Calculation Process

Our Formula

Median Value = P50(CleanedSamples)

Where CleanedSamples exclude the top and bottom 10% of raw trading data

Step 1: Data Collection

  • Gather trading samples from multiple sources
  • Include Discord, Trade Hub, and in-game data
  • Timestamp all samples for freshness tracking

Step 2: Sample Cleaning

  • Remove bottom 10% (P10) - suspicious low values
  • Remove top 10% (P90) - suspicious high values
  • Keep middle 80% for reliable calculations

Event Multipliers & Community Discrepancies

Eclipse Event Multiplier Discrepancy

The community has different opinions about Eclipse event multipliers. Some sites show ×15, others show ×20. Our testing indicates ×20 based on in-game sell price calculations.

Our Testing Method

We test by comparing actual sell prices during Eclipse events vs normal times, using the same crops with identical weights and mutations.

Example: Tomato (1kg, no mutations) sells for 1,000 Sheckles normally. During Eclipse, the same tomato sells for 20,000 Sheckles = 20× multiplier.

Sell Price Formula

FinalPrice = BaseValue × (weight/baseWeight)² × GrowthMultiplier × (1 + Σ(envMutiplier - 1)) × (1 + 0.1×friends)

Weight Scaling

Quadratic scaling: (actualWeight/baseWeight)². Heavier crops are exponentially more valuable.

Growth Mutations

Choose one growth mutation. Multiplies directly: Rainbow (×5), Corrupted (×50), etc.

Env/Event Mutations

Multiple allowed. Uses "extra parts" method: 1 + Σ(multiplier - 1) to avoid double-counting.

Example Calculation

Base: Tomato = 1,000 Sheckles (1kg base weight)
Weight: 2kg crop = (2/1)² = 4× multiplier
Growth: Rainbow mutation = 5× multiplier
Event: Eclipse ×20 = 1 + (20-1) = 20× multiplier
Friends: 2 friends = 1 + (0.1×2) = 1.2× multiplier
Result: 1,000 × 4 × 5 × 20 × 1.2 = 480,000 Sheckles
