Grow a Garden Pet Value Calculator

Interpolate a Trade Token range from two comparable weight-value observations, with explicit modifiers and uncertainty.

Bring two current observations. Use two dated Token values for the same pet, mutation state, and patch. This calculator interpolates between them; it does not supply or invent a live market price.
Lower verified anchor
Upper verified anchor

Enter two increasing weights, their positive Token values, and a target weight between them. K, M, and B suffixes are supported.

What this pet value calculator does

Current Grow a Garden pet trading is attribute-sensitive. Two pets with the same name can receive very different offers when weight, mutation, ability, obtainability, or demand differs. A static value list cannot represent every copy. This tool starts with two observations for the same pet and estimates the point between them.

The calculation uses linear interpolation between the lower and upper weight anchors. It then applies the mutation and demand factors you choose. The uncertainty band is displayed around the adjusted midpoint so a small apparent advantage is not mistaken for guaranteed trade value.

How to choose comparable anchors

  1. 1. Match the pet

    Both observations must be for the same pet species and the same GAG version.

  2. 2. Match the market

    Use Trade Tokens on both anchors. Never mix Tokens with Sheckles or NPC sell prices.

  3. 3. Match attributes

    Prefer the same mutation state, obtainability, patch and similar demand conditions.

  4. 4. Stay between anchors

    Your target weight must fall inside the observed interval; the calculator refuses unsupported extrapolation.

Formula and example

base = lowValue + ((targetKg − lowKg) / (highKg − lowKg)) × (highValue − lowValue)
adjusted = base × mutationFactor × demandFactor

For an illustrative, not current-market, example, suppose a comparable pet is observed at 10 kg for 100 Tokens and at 20 kg for 200 Tokens. A 15 kg copy sits halfway between the anchors, so the interpolated base is 150 Tokens. A 1.2 mutation factor and neutral 1.0 demand factor produce a 180 Token midpoint before the selected uncertainty range.

What the result cannot prove

Interpolation is only as reliable as the anchors. It cannot prove that a screenshot represents a completed trade, that a market has not moved after a patch, or that every mutation deserves a fixed multiplier. Use several dated observations and widen uncertainty when sources disagree.

Turn the estimate into W/F/L

Calculate comparable pets using the same source, unit, patch and modifier rules. Then total both sides in the trade calculator. Keep the uncertainty band: a small difference inside that band should be treated as unclear, not a certain win.

Pet value calculator questions

Does this calculator contain live Grow a Garden pet values?

No. You provide two comparable Trade Token observations. The calculator interpolates between them and does not invent a current market quote.

Can I share a Grow a Garden pet value estimate?

Yes. A shared link restores both weight-value anchors, target weight, modifiers and uncertainty. The recipient should still verify the observations before trading.

Why must the target weight stay between both anchors?

Interpolation estimates a point inside observed evidence. Predicting beyond either anchor would be extrapolation and can become unreliable quickly.

Do mutation and demand change the estimate?

Only when you enter those factors. Both modifiers remain visible in the result, and the default value for each is 1.0.
