Mimic Octopus: Ability & How to Get It
Mimic Octopus repeats another pet’s ability, so its usefulness depends on the eligible pets in your garden.

How to get Mimic Octopus
Pro’s pet and Paradise Egg pages list a 1% Paradise Egg chance. These are two pages from one publisher, not independent confirmations. Egg-route source.
Is it available now?
The source labels it available. We have not checked current shop stock or your egg reward panel.
Ability, targets and limits
Pro describes Mimicry as copying an ability from another pet in your garden, at roughly 20-minute intervals.
The guide says only the first ability of a dual-ability pet is copied and the original timer is unchanged. It lists exclusions; verify the current eligible set rather than assuming every equipped pet can be copied.
Weight and cooldown
Use your displayed Mimicry timer. A timing calculation cannot establish which pet is chosen or an equal selection probability. Supporting reference.
At an observed 20-minute interval, one hour has three copying opportunities. Record actual selections before estimating the chance of copying your preferred pet; three opportunities do not mean three preferred copies.
What do the reported hatch odds mean?
Using the reported 1% Paradise Egg chance, 100 eggs give about 63.4% probability of at least one Mimic Octopus. Reaching at least 95% would require 299 eggs under this model.
This is our calculation: 1 − (1 − p)n. It assumes identical, independent chances with no pity mechanic or changing luck. A 95% threshold is not a guaranteed hatch. Check the displayed chance before using it.
In the hatch tool, enter 1 for target chance (%), then your actual egg time, count and cost.
